some days aren't like others

Some days just aren't like others

Take off from work early, head home and change into the red plaid suit and blue afro; grab the juggling bag, matches, lighter fluid, and I'm out the door.

It was an afternoon I couldn't have predicted: passing 6 flaming torches, dancing to cajun zydeco with an 8 foot stilted clown, and spinning helter-skelter in a human gyroscope. This was College Homecoming from an alumnus clown perspective.

That night I would receive an all-time high payment as a hired juggler: a barbecue dinner and three alien-design hackey sacks.
