FKR is the product of an Italian-Slovakian marriage. His mother's family comes from the Italian community of Astoria in Queens. He has travelled widely through Europe. He has been reading for friends at open mics and under bridges for most of his life. He is currently living in Flushing and struggling with the declining job market. Eddie Quirk, fresh out of high school, is a talented guitar player. He plays reggae-styled riffing like Keith Richards meets Mick Jones. He is currently living in London. Edward Bujans is the child of pre-Castro Cuban immigrants. He spent his early childhood in foster homes, Salvation Army centers, youth homes and living in rest stops from California to the east coast and Miami (a Cuban mecca). Later in his teens, having attended four to five schools a year, he came to live with his grandmother, Nereyda Sanz-Bujans, in Washington Heights, NY. His employment background varies from menial jobs as a car wash attendant, janitor, painter, butcher assistant, usher and doorman to editing a college literary journal and newspaper writing. All his works are dedicated to two people: his grandmother and his beloved friend Start Singer. Danny Licul, a Croatian-American, is a genius painter and a life-long friend and collaborator to the Goose Poets.
